Ryeisha "Rye Rye" Berrain is an American rapper from Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Performing since the age of 16.Rye Rye is the first artist signed to M.I.A.'s record label N.E.E.T.. Her debut album was set to come out in March 2009, but has not been released yet. Rye Rye collaborated with several artists on the LP which is set to feature artwork by M.I.A.. With DJ Diplo, she worked on a song called "Wassup Wassup". "Hardcore Girls" with The Count and Sinden, and "Reasons". "Hardcore Girls" appears on the Hardcore Girls EP by The Count and Sinden. She has been qutoed to describing her sound as "unique, hard-hitting," saying "anything thrown I can handle it.
Rye Rye's single "Bang" (featuring M.I.A.) appears on the "Fast & Furious" motion picture soundtrack.

She toured with M.I.A. during the fall and winter of 2007 and early 2008 and briefly with Afrikan Boy. She features on a remix of M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" with Afrikan Boy, which appears on the Paper Planes - Homeland Security Remixes EP by M.I.A. and is available on her MySpace."Shake It To The Ground," a collaboration with Blaqstarr, was made available for download on iTunes. Rye Rye travelled to Sweden to perform in summer of 2008 and is featured on the rapclash remix of Swedish musician Adrian Lux's single "Strawberry".
